Presentation Guidelines
1. Schedule and payment information
i. SCHEDULE:
(Note: Presentations time slots may be prone to last minute change)
ii. PAYMENT INFORMATION:
For Student/Staff:
1) Go to https://epay.ubd.edu.bn/ where you will be in the Student & Staff portal
2) For Student – Log in using your UBD registration number [23Bxxx] and UBD e-mail password
3) For Staff – Log in using your UBD email [without @ubd.edu.bn] and UBD e-mail password
4) Please wait for a few minutes for all the fee options to pop-out
5) Pick the item you want to pay [i.e. 2nd Int Conference on…]
6) Confirm payment at the cart sign
For Public:
1) Go to https://ipay.ubd.edu.bn/ where you will be in the Public portal
2) Register first
3) Log in using the e-mail created
4) Please wait for a few minutes for all the fee options to pop-out
5) Pick the item you want to pay [i.e. 2nd Int Conference on…]
6) Confirm payment at the cart sign
2. Check-in procedures
- Check-in desk hours: Tuesday, June 4th 2024 8:30am-1:30PM
- Check-in desk will be in your presentation room
- Bring institutional identification to verify your registration and payment category
- Verify if your presentation is the same timeslot as scheduled
- Please make sure to prepare a back-up data in both .PDF and .PPT format (e.g. USB thumb drive)
- Check-in with the operator 30 minutes prior to your session with your backup file with the operator in your presentation venue
- All data must be compliant with Windows 10. MacOS will not be supported
3. Presention duration
- Oral Presentations: 10 minutes each
- Poster Presentation: 5 minutes
- Keynote Speaker: 20 minutes
- Note: Duration is inclusive of Q&A

4. Oral Presentation guidelines
ORAL PRESENTATION FORMAT
Speakers are to choose the design and must use Microsoft safe fonts. The oral presentation may be submitted in PDF or PPT format.
The files must be accepted on Windows laptops/stations.
5. Setup and Presentation
Poster and oral presenters will be assigned a computer prior to arrival
Submit your file via upload to the [Poster or Oral Presentation Submission Form] or email to `ic.c3l@ubd.edu.bn`, “Subject: Powerpoint / Poster Presentation – Full Name” Posters will be displayed on high-res digital monitors in portrait orientation.
Authors are requested to be at their assigned monitors for their entire scheduled duration. A formal schedule is TBD.
Please note: Schedules will be prone to change. Please confirm your session date and time upon arrival at the Main Lobby, Chancellor Hall, Universiti Brunei Darussalam
6. Submitting presentation data
Step 1 — Name the file accordingly:
“presentation-no.”__”presenter-name”.pdf
Example: O1-E2__john-smith.pdf”
Step 2 — Submit your data:
Oral powerpoint presentations: Upload your oral powerpoint presentations via the online form [here]
Posters presentations:Upload your pdf posters via the online form [here]
Important: Only one file will be accepted. Please make sure this file is your final version before submission.
Alternatively, you may email your e-posters / oral presentation powerpoints to `ic.c3l@ubd.edu.bn’ with the subject: “oral powerpoint / poster presentation submission” and include your full details in the email.
Step 3 — Submit by the deadline:
Deadline: May 24th 2024, 11:59 PM – Brunei time. Please make sure to prepare a back-up data in both .PDF and .PPT format (e.g. USB thumb drive) Note: Your data is confidential. After your session, the organizer will delete the data.
